A RESIDENT has been left fuming after he woke up to find his car covered in spray paint.

Mindless vandals caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage after they daubed dozens of vehicles on the quiet street in Torquay, Devon.

The incident which is believed to have happened in the early hours of yesterday morning, saw cars covered in red paint on both sides.

Local resident Leon Kings who was among those targeted, told Devon Live: “Every car has been sprayed.

“I spoke to one chap who has two cars parked there, and both of his were done.

"He was there at 3am and didn’t see anything then, so it must have been done after that.

“I’m not happy, to say the least. What happened - did somebody get a can of spray paint for Christmas?”

Police have been informed of the incident.
