
Kristin Davis, born February 23, 1965, is an undeniable charmer. The actress got her big break in 1995 landing the role of Brooke Armstrong Campbell on Fox’s ‘Melrose Place.’ She secured herself in American pop culture when she was cast as Charlotte York on the then-groundbreaking and now iconic HBO comedy ‘Sex and the City’ in 1998. The show ran through 2004 and spawned a film and a sequel series.
In her personal, she’s a passionate advocate for animal rights, particularly the protection of African elephants. She’s a patron of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya which takes in and raises orphaned baby elephants and raises them until they’re able to one day go back into the wild and join a herd.
She is the mother of daughter Gemma, 7, and a son, 4, who are both adopted. She spoke about the issues of raising African-American children and the racism she’s seen them suffer during a July 9 episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch talk show ‘Red Table Talk.
